Nightshift across both Young Adults & Elderly units.

We currently have a number of Senior Care Assistant opportunities available in Saltcoats, Ayrshire. These are permanent positions, working for a respected Care provider who offer the highest standards of care to both the Elderly and Younger Adults. The service offers a multi-unit operation, caring for residents with a varying range of medical conditions. 

This post is specifically for their specialist elderly units, where you will be supporting residents with Dementia and other age related conditions. To be successful within this role, you will be able to provide high standards of care, while showing empathy and respect to the residents you are supporting.

* Flexible, Permanent, Full-Time Shifts, 38.5 Hours Per Week

Requirements

* Ideally you will hold or be working towards an SVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care
* SSSC Registration or willingness to register within the specified timescale
* An Understanding of National Care Standards & Codes of Conducts
* Completion of all mandatory training requirements
* A commitment to providing a standard of care that exceeds both company and industry standards.
* Ideally you will have experience of working in care 
* Drivers License would be preferred, however, not essential 

Role Responsibilities:

* Providing excellent care and support to our residents
* Coordinating and organisational skills to lead a team
* Completing care planning documents to accurately reflect care needs
* Completing calls and meetings with support with external professionals to capture the care given to our service users
* Completing mandatory training
* Completing real-time documentation to detail care delivery
* Offering a safe, caring stable environment to the people we support
* Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
* Working in partnership with the manager to ensure the smooth running of the home
