Care Assistant - Nights

Nights - Flexible across both Younger Adults & Elderly Units.

We currently have a number of Care Assistant opportunities available in Saltcoats, Ayrshire. These are permanent positions, working for a respected Care provider who offer the highest standards of care to both the Elderly and Younger Adults. The service offers a multi-unit operation, caring for residents with a varying range of medical conditions. 

This post is specifically for their specialist elderly units, where you will be supporting residents with Dementia and other age related conditions. To be successful within this role, you will be able to provide high standards of care, while showing empathy and respect to the residents you are supporting. 

Requirements

* Ideally you will hold or be working towards an SVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care
* SSSC Registration or willingness to register within the specified timescale
* An Understanding of National Care Standards & Codes of Conducts
* Completion of all mandatory training requirements
* A commitment to providing a standard of care that exceeds both company and industry standards.
* Ideally you will have experience of working in care 
* Drivers License would be preferred, however, not essential 

Role Responsibilities:

* Providing excellent care and support to residents
* Completing real-time documentation to detail care delivery.
* Offering a safe and stable care environment to the residents you are supporting
* Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, legal and best practice guidelines
* Working in partnership with the wider team and management to ensure the smooth running of the home.
