We are looking for a  talented Chef to join our clients Care Team at their Rehabilitation Centre in Lanarkshire. Their mission is to provide exceptional care, and they believe that great food plays a vital role in enhancing the well-being of those they serve.

As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious, nutritious meals that cater to the diverse needs of the residents. You will work closely with the team to develop menus  that meet and adhere to dietary requirements and preferences. Your creativity and culinary skills will be recognised as you prepare and present meals that satisfy residents.

We are looking for someone who is not only adept in the kitchen but also has a genuine passion for providing excellent service. You should have a good understanding of food safety regulations and be committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen. Experience in a similar role, particularly within a care setting, is highly desirable but not essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking meals from scratch, ensuring quality and taste.
• Designing and planning nutritious menus that cater to the dietary needs of our residents.
• Managing kitchen inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
• Training and supervising kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
