Care Assistant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to individuals in a care home settings, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their wellbeing. Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support clients with mobility and daily routines, promoting independence where possible
• Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
• Maintain accurate care plans and document any changes in the client’s condition
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Support clients with medication reminders in accordance with care plans
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
• Use IT systems to record care activities and update client records
• Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings as required

Requirements:

• Ideally working towards or hold an SVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care
• An Understanding of National Care Standards and Codes of Conducts
• Maintain confidentiality at all times
• Have a passion to deliver high levels of care at all times.
• SSSC Registration or willingness to register within the specified timescale.
