About the role

As a Health Care Assistant, you’ll be part of a team that supports individuals with their daily care needs and helps them feel comfortable, safe, and respected. This is a permanent, part-time position working days & nights in one of our client's care homes in South Lanarkshire.

Your role will be hands-on and meaningful, supporting residents with personal care, promoting independence, and contributing to care plans. You’ll also play an important part in creating a warm, person-centred environment where dignity comes first.

What you’ll do

• Provide compassionate personal care, ensuring privacy, dignity, and respect always
• Support with daily living activities, encouraging independence where possible
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers, following appropriate procedures
• Support the care team in delivering consistent, high-quality care
• Observe and report changes in wellbeing, following clear escalation processes
• Maintain accurate documentation as required by the service
• Promote wellbeing through companionship, encouragement, and positive communication
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure routines are effective, safe, and respectful
